Kössen is probably the most famous flying area in Europe and has developed into a Mecca for the scene over the decades.
Unterberg

Experience the beautiful landscape of the Kaiserwinkl from a bird's eye view while paragliding and take off with us. We float silently past the peaks with the help of the updrafts and enjoy the view.
We can easily reach the starting point with the Unterberghorn gondola.
Meeting Point & Directions
We will meet at the valley station at the ticket office of the Unterberghorn gondola lift, at the following address: Thurnbichl 47, 6345 Kössen
Arrival:
- From Munich: approximately 1.5 hours.
- From Salzburg or Innsbruck: approximately 1 hour.
- Parking spaces are located directly at the valley station.
Then we will take the gondola lift together to the Unterberghorn, the starting point of your paragliding flight in Kössen.
The cable car ticket is not included in the flight price and can be purchased at the valley station.

Process
When you arrive at the mountain, you will receive instructions and your helmet and seat belt will be put on you. After a few quick steps, we'll be gliding through the air on a tandem flight and your first panoramic flight.
Depending on the flight time, we land some time later at the landing site where we met.

Top thermals on the Unterberghorn
Kössen and the Unterberg are undoubtedly one of the paragliding centers in Europe. The Unterberg also offers 3 different take-off sites depending on the wind direction and a landing site at the famous Paragliding Bar as well as a landing site at the gondola valley station.
The thermals are active early in spring and beautiful cross-country flights are often made from Unterberg. Also for longer tandem flights there are optimal conditions here.

The mountain station of the gondola lift in Hochkössen is the starting point for numerous wonderful hiking and mountain tours, as well as for breathtaking paragliding flights. The idyllic mountain landscape and natural scenery alone are worth the drive up.
Once you have arrived at the mountain station, at 1,500 meters above sea level, the summit of the Unterbergerhorn offers an unforgettable panoramic view from Walchsee to Chiemsee as well as the peaks of the Hohe Tauern and the Wilder Kaiser.

The CLASSIC flight in Kössen lasts up to 20 minutes and can be carried out at any time of year and day. Our flight goes from the top of the mountain down to the landing site. Meanwhile you can enjoy the wonderful view.

On the CLASSIC PLUS flight we use the natural updrafts (thermals) and fly for more than 30 minutes. Amazing views from a higher altitude! If we don´t have enough thermals, the cheaper CLASSIC flight will be charged.

On the CLASSIC SUPERIOR we fly for 45 minutes and up to 2800m. So we are flying even higher and longer over the mountains with incredible views. A very spectacular flight! Possible from february to october, thermals required.

Photo/video
During each flight, approximately 40 photos and videos will be taken of your experience. We use the best action cameras from GoPro.
If you feel like it, you can have the data transferred directly to your phone after the flight and can share and use it immediately.
